Hi there, it's Stefanie here (Co-Founder and President of TVG). We're thrilled to officially press send on Issue No. 1 of The Violet View. 

Writing, story-telling, and teaching are three hobbies that are near and dear to my heart. No matter what season of life I'm in, I always seem to find my way back to these things. 

Writing brings me clarity and focus. Storytelling keeps me inspired and helps me cement my memories. Teaching keeps me energized and fulfills my desire to give back and help others reach their goals.

I suspect this newsletter - though a clear collaboration amongst The Violet Group team (some of whom are pictured below at our June Team Retreat) - will become an outlet for just that. 

Each month, we'll bring you tidbits from TVG - lessons learned, stories worth sharing, themes we're seeing in our client work, and recommended resources to learn from, engage with, and share with those you support.

Why? First, because we genuinely love this work. Second, at TVG, we have the privilege of working with brilliant professionals across various industries. We discover what drives them, pinpoint essential skills for development, and create tailored learning experiences to enhance the performance of individuals, teams, and companies.

We think these insights deserve to be shared far and wide; what you do with them is up to you, but to us: sharing is caring.

Whether you know our team personally, or you're simply looking to learn and advance your network and knowledge, all are welcome here. The world needs more people-focused, accountable, driven, and purpose-driven leaders, and we're committed to making that happen.

Key Learnings from the SIOP Annual Conference 🎓

Our Co-Founders reconnected with their roots as panelists at the  Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology Conference. They shared their experiences and insights on how:

• Future-focused development planning helps leaders gain clarity and take thoughtful action toward goals
• Women can continue to combat gender bias at work (yes, it still exists!)
• Ensuring everyone gets practical, direct, and candid feedback drives inclusion, performance, and growth
